About this App

This App describes a trip on The Thames River in 1977 in a hire boat Maid Mary Helga from Walton to Henley.

The main part was completed in 2005 by digitising the old 35 mm slides and the 8 mm movie film to aid the story of the journey. Select the BLUE "Full Upstream Trip" or the RED "Full Return Trip" tabs. Those movies are also broken into some 16 smaller segments.

Also there is a GREEN "Slide Movie" tab completed in 2014 featuring the slides only as well as a GREEN "Track Movie" completed in 2015 with a Google Earth Flyover of the trip.
